What are the Content Producer’s responsibilities?
Your role as Content Producer involves the daily editorial direction and content production for the site. You will make recommendations on site content and target audience, working with other teams within the organization on cross promotional projects.
On a daily basis, you will be producing unique content for the site and building relationships with external content providers. You will be working to daily deadlines, in line with publishing and editorial guidelines. Other responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on site statistics and traffic.
Who are you?
Candidates for this Content Producer role are required to have at least 3 years editorial experience in media, sourcing, writing and producing engaging and compelling content, ideally within an online environment.
A strong interest in Drama, lifestyle and talk-show is preferred because if you love these shows you will love this job! As one important aspect of the role is your creative input as a complete re-vamp of the site is needed and your ideas will be integral to a project that will be viewed online by millions.
Essential for this Content Producer role is an understanding of editorial and production processes (within an online environment), strong team oriented attitude, the ability to write and proof read editorial plans and good project management and time management skills.
