The Account Manager Role
As Account Manager your role would be to provide the first point of contact to clients, working directly with them face to face and over the phone. The Account Manager will train new and existing clients on new product features, create accounts for new clients, provide support on any technical issues, oversee client’s campaigns to ensure they are running and executed smoothly, and liaise with the publishers.
Required Account Manager skills/experience
To be successful for this Account Manager role, candidates should have at least 2 years experience in online advertising. You may have been an account co-ordinator, campaign and traffic manager, or similar. Ideally you will have worked with a publisher or with an agency.
Key to this Account Manager role is the ability to build solid relationships and communicate clearly. You will be bright, enthusiastic and able to pick up new technologies quickly. Time management skills are essential as you may be required to work on a number of projects concurrently.
